Starting a Project

Don’t forget to call Miss Utility at 1-800-552-7001 before you start digging on your property. Remember, it’s the law. The Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act in Virginia requires anyone who engages in any type of excavation or demolition to provide advance notice of at least 48 hours to “Miss Utility”. This notification system was established to inform participating underground utility operators of intended excavation.

The Board of Directors would like to remind all home/lot owners to acquire all necessary building permits from Spotsylvania County before you start your project. You then should submit all paperwork to the Red Rose Village ARB for Review and approval.

The Architectural Review Board is willing and ready to assist each homeowner in under- standing the ARB Standards when you decide that you want to start a project this fall.
